Drainage Design Services

A complete list of all our areas of work is given on our home page and briefly our main areas of operation are as follows:

•  River Modelling. We would normally use Flood Modeller Pro or TUFLOW software for river modelling although we can use HEC-RAS software if required.

•  Hydrology including the estimation of watercourse flows using Flood Estimation Handbook methods.

•  Expert Witness Services. We are able to offer the services of one of our senior staff as an expert witness in the sewerage and drainage area of civil engineering.

•  Flood Risk Assessments, for use in England and a similar document Flood Consequence Assessments, for use in Wales. Both these reports assess the flood risk to a proposed development itself and also the change in flood risk to third parties as a result of the new development.

•  Drainage for New Developments.  Preliminary and detail design of drainage for new 'green' and 'brown' field developments including both foul and surface water systems. The latter is likely to involve using SUDS (Sustainable Drainage System) techniques.
